Microdisney - Hello Rascals

On this date in 1982, Microdisney released their debut single, "Hello Rascals". It was backed by "The Helicopter Of The Holy Ghost". Neither track appeared on a regular album, though both appeared on the early compilation, We Hate You South African Bastards! (later renamed Love Your Enemies). The Cork, Ireland post punk/power pop band eventually moved towards a more mainstream sound when they relocated to London. They disbanded in 1988 after four albums, several singles and a compilation.
