On this date in 1978, The Cortinas released their only album, True Romances. It included their third single, "Heartache". This was a much more reserved set of songs than their first two faster singles, "Defiant Pose" and "Fascist Dictator". While not included on this album originally, they were both added as bonus tracks on the CD re-release. The Bristol, England teenage punk band disbanded in 1978 after three singles and an album.
