Belfegore "S/T"
Forming out of the Neue Deutsche Welle movement with a severely German interpretation of UK goth. Traumatic post-punk with a dash of German new wave. The band released a few independent records after their formation in 1982. In '83, they signed a deal with the majors. Conny Plank produced this album, pushing the radio airwaves with a harder edged pseudo industrial sound. They even did a video for "All that I Wanted" which helped them achieve a broader reach. They even toured with U2 in '85...and that ain't so good. But the album still has some memorable tracks regardless.
