On this date in 1982, Wall Of Voodoo released their second single, "Ring Of Fire". It was backed by a live track called "The Morricone Themes" which was a medley of songs. The A side had originally appeared on their 1980 self-titled debut EP but this single was a re-mixed version. The Los Angeles post-punk/new wave band disbanded in 1988.
