Horror of 59 is a punk rock band from Cleveland, Ohio with a decidedly morbid sensibility. Sure, The Misfits are an influence, but Horror of 59 draws from the whole history of seventies and eighties punk, sixties garage rock,fifties rock'n' roll, and even a little bit of metal. Lyrically,the band is inspired not just by horror films,but by real life horrors and local ghost stories and legends of their northeast Ohio stomping grounds.
The band has been bringing its unique brand of musical terror to the masses since September of 2004. The pieces that make up this Frankenstein monster are Deke - Bass, Tommy Horror -Guitar, Brent Bastard - Drums, and Bob Noxious- vocals. Let the horror begin!
