Well opinions seem to be mixed on how I should post the show up here ont his here thang. I'll try to do it both ways tonight and see how it works out. Thanksgiving show should be pretty real, lots of people generally in town stopping by to see us.

But first.



Trae and company are joining forces with L.E.A.P. tomorrow (Thursday, Thanksgiving) to feed the hungry in Third Ward. Here's the official release:

Our organization, Ladies Empowering All People (L.E.A.P) along with G-Maab Entertainment, will be in the Third Ward community in Houston, TX feeding families in need on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23, 2006. We are asking for your help to make this possible. Food or monetary donations from your establishment are greatly appreciated as we are trying to lend a hand to as many families as possible.

Leap’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of women and create a focus on those in all communities with needs. LEAP inspires, enlightens and empowers individuals to walk in their divine destiny of completeness and wholeness. This organization is designed to promote a partnership amongst women to raise an appreciation of the economic, ecological and recreational importance of everyone involved. We believe that remaining positive and looking ahead are essential parts of achieving goals.

My boy Joro from Finland just sent me these three photos from Willie D's show in Helsinki earlier this month!







Willie D was super excited. It was his first show overseas and he got to see how people who respect the arts react when they meet a genuine artist. The club was sold out, and on the same night 50 Cent was playing across town. Someone came up to him and said "People went to see 50 Cent because he is hot right now, but this club here is sold out because you are a legend."

Two times for arts in the schools.

Anyway y'all, I'm off to gorge myself with the family. Give thanks for all you've got (every day) and some of the things you don't have. That's the true meaning of this Thanksgiving horseshit. I'm not about to sit and celebrate the slaughter of a race of people, the enslaving of a race of people and the perpetual "US VS. THE BROWN PEOPLE OF THE WORLD" war thang.
